Sharing Groups are a lovely way of getting together with other Reiki people. Generally, they are hosted by a Reiki Master but anyone can do it. I have hosted many such events in my 22 years of Reiki and find I am energised and supported by the people who turn up.
If you have done a Reiki class and are wondering what your first steps are (apart from daily self-treatments), find yourself a buddy – often someone in your class – to swap Reiki with. If you want to take it further, go to a bigger sharing group and there you will find like minded practitioners with whom you can discuss all the relevant bits and pieces you have been wondering about. Of course, if you are lucky enough to still be in touch with your Master, ask him or her your question.
The very best Reiki shares are at events like the annual Gathering of the Reiki Association. It is a great organisation to join as you get the support of the whole Reiki community and it was one of the first things I did when I did my Reiki. That allowed me to find people in my area, and after moving to East Sussex, I did the same thing. Some of these people have become good friends. So what’s stopping you? My sharing dates are posted on the website and on Facebook. Let me know if you are coming to the share as I have limited space. All are welcome and I look forward to meeting you.
